The New Zealand IPv6 Internet Exchange (V6IX) is set of distributed Ethernet-based neutral peering points comprised of the APE6 and WIX6. These exchanges are connected together and run on switches in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand with a routed connection between them. More information on the IPv6 exchanges is available: APE6 WIX6 By peering at any of the IPv6 exchange points you agree to provide routing information about your networks to other Exchange participants to optimise traffic flows across the Exchange. For more details of this agreement see the ExchangeNET Terms and Conditions In order to participate in V6IX, you need to be attached to one of the APE or WIX switches, have a router capable of running IPv6 and BGP/4, and a block of IPv6 numbers that are yours to route.
